Hey everybody, this is Adam Arkfeld I’m the owner of ParaCore, and today I wanna talk a little bit about account access because a lot of people that we talk to tell us that their PPC managers aren’t able to give them account access, or all of their accounts are under one setup. And so I wanted to show you what it looked like in the ad manager because in most cases, that’s just not true.
So if your looking at my screen here, there are two areas, users and managers, and we’re currently just in the access section. So if you hit this little toolbar up here, and you go to account access, and you click that link, you’re gonna see this, or you’re probably gonna see this. But I’m gonna start over on managers. ParaCore has a manager account, it’s called MCC Account, and so if we’re working together, and we need to take a look at your account, we can actually just request access to your account, or you can add us, and we’re connected as a manager. And that allows anyone at ParaCore to then look at your account and do an audit or do a review or have access if people come or go, or whatever the case may be.
So an MCC account, or a manger account, is really important. And then over on the user side, this is where individual users have access to their accounts. We’re looking at the ParaCore account right now, so we actually don’t have any individual users with access to this because everyone runs through our MCC manager account. Now if we go to…the campaigns section, this is one of the areas that I wanted to just show you because if someone tells you that they’re not able to share account access with you because of the way the account is structured, the only reason that might be the case is if they’re running multiple clients, or multiple franchises, or multiple different owners under one account, and they each have their own campaigns.
So for example, I would not be able to share OAM Branded with just one user, I have to share the entire account. What’s good to know is that this is not a normal best practice to put a bunch of different franchises in one account because that means that billing is all then run through one account, and makes it a little more difficult to manage the billing aspect, and just manage the logistics. So normally when someone says that they aren’t able to share an account, it’s usually because they don’t want to. The exception is if they structure it this way, like I’m showing you, having like, this campaign might be like the Arizona Franchise, California Franchise, Colorado Franchise, if they did that, then they’re right, they can’t share with you explicitly. But that’s really not a very good way to set up accounts. And it would lead me to believe that either A: they’re not very experienced, or B: they did that just so they wouldn’t have to share the account, because someone very experienced would never set up their account that way. So by clicking these gears in the upper right, hitting “account access”, and then heading over in this direction, you can see that you can add users, you can add managers to this entire account like we’re seeing with ParaCore.
So if you have any questions about getting access to your account, or someone might be telling you that they’re not able to share it with you, and they’re kind of holding it hostage more or less, Reach out to us, I can answer any questions that might be of value and steer you in the right direction. Thanks for watching.
